Video: Grow Broccoli

I started my broccoli plants indoors from seed on Feb. 27. I had hoped to transplant them out into the garden by April 15 but our weather was just too cold at that point. Fortunately, the weather seemed stable enough one week later.

In this video, I explain how to plant the seeds and how to protect them from insect pests such as aphids, cabbage worms and slugs. Rather than using organic sprays (I will never use pesticides), I just need to use barriers to keep them away.
