A Note from Susan

June 12, 2026 _ Hi, everybody! Bill and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to Ireland. We saw beautiful gardens, met delightful people, visited amazing historical sites and basically recharged our batteries. So now I have some major catching up to do!

First of all, I wanted to let you know about my two newest videos. The first one is Grow with GreenStalk Vertical Planters. In it, I set up and plant veggies and flowers in my 2 planters. It’s a great way to grow if you’re limited on garden space or perhaps the only sunny spot you’ve got for a garden is right on your patio or deck. The second video is Wonderful Flowering Shrubs for Your Garden. We grow so many fabulous shrubs, including lots of native ones to attract our bird friends, and I thought you’d enjoy finding out which ones are my favorites. All of the shrubs I mention in the video are easy to grow and really add a “wow!” factor to the landscape. I hope you’ll enjoy both of the videos.

I have plans for 2 new videos in the works: next week, I’ll give you a tour of our vegetable garden so you can see how everything is growing so far. And for the following week, I plan to create a video slideshow of the highlights from our trip to Ireland. Stay tuned!
