raised bed gardeningIf you’ve followed me for long, you know I am absolutely crazy about raised bed gardening! There are so many great attributes of this method of gardening, that I just had to share them in my column in today’s edition of The Spokesman-Review: Raised beds offer bountiful benefits.

The beds are super easy to build. As a matter of fact, we need to replace one row of our raised beds this spring. I do plan to shoot a video next week on how to build them… well, provided the snow in my garden ever melts!

I had fully intended to make that today’s video topic but you can’t even see my garden at this point. (heavy sigh) So instead, this week’s video is on a very important topic that I had wanted to cover anyway: Seed-Starting 101. Here it is:
