Video: Attract Birds to Your Garden

I’ve got a new video for you! Since I’m not really doing any gardening this time of year, I thought it would be fun to share my tips on how to attract birds to your garden year-round.

Bill and I are avid birdwatchers and have really focused on making our landscape bird-friendly. The video also includes a slideshow of most of the bird species that come to our garden. There are a few that I don’t have photos of… yet! At then end, I show you a really helpful resource on my website: Birds in the Garden. You’ll find profiles of all sorts of birds plus a lot of great tips.

I also mentioned the Merlin Bird ID app from Cornell Lab. It will help you identify birds from photos or from their birdsong. How cool is that?
