Video: Grow Peas and Carrots

This is a two-fer week because you get two videos rather than one! In today’s new video, I talk about how to grow peas and carrots.

For the pea segment, I’ll show you how to plant “gutter peas” (peas started in rain gutters) and how we support them. And in the carrot segment, I discuss soil preparation which is very important! (what to add and what to avoid) Then I plant carrot seeds, along with a row of parsnip seeds. You’ll learn about thinning carrots and parsnips because that’s how they’ll have room to form nice big roots. And I share a tip from Joe Lamp’l for getting better germination.
