Video: Seed Starting Indoors Pt. 2

seed starting

Are you ready for the next installment in my seed starting video series? In this one, I’ll get down to the business of planting seeds so will provide step-by-step instructions on the process.

Then you’ll learn about watering, fertilizing, up-potting and hardening-off the seedlings so they’re ready to grow in your garden. And if you’re wondering about the photo of the pelleted seeds, you’ll learn something interesting about them in this video as well.

During the video, I mentioned how I start a few lettuce seeds early so that I can get them off to a good start and then transplant out into the garden under covers. I am specifically using Cool Weather Row Cloches from Gardener’s Supply. I don’t have an affiliation with them but thought you’d be interested to see what I’m talking about.

It’s so much fun to be talking about seed-starting again! From here on out, I will be giving short updates on how my seed-starting projects are coming along during the gardening videos that I’ll be shooting in the coming weeks. Stay tuned…

I also wanted to let you know that I have a special guide on my website that lets you know when to start your seeds, no matter what zone you live in. Just go to this link. And, as always, if you have questions, just send an email to Susan@SusansintheGarden.com.
