Video: Sweet Potato Harvest in Zone 5b

It’s time for my next video and this one is particularly special. Why? My awesome, helpful and creative husband, Bill, joined me for it! That’s because he was the one who thought of trying to grow sweet potatoes here in Spokane, Wash. The topic for this video is our 2022 sweet potato harvest.

This was actually our second year of growing sweet potatoes. As you’ll learn in the video, Bill grew them in one of the beds inside our little hoop house and also in a small raised bed in the main part of the garden. Last year’s harvest was larger than this year’s but we’re still pleased with how they performed, especially since Bill only planted them in containers.
