Nov. 3 Column: Get Your Garden Fix

Get Your Garden Fix, Gaiser ConservatoryWith the early arrival of winter here in the Inland Northwest, area gardeners are probably feeling pretty discouraged. No worries, it’s “Susan to the rescue!!!” For my November column, I thought it would be fun to write about the many ways to get your garden fix. Here’s a link to it in The Spokesman-Review: Keeping your green thumb fertilized through the winter.

In my column, I discuss places to visit so you can admire — and perhaps purchase — plants, reading a good book or magazine, watching gardening videos, or even growing microgreens.

Get Your Garden Fix, Gaiser ConservatoryLast year, I shot a video that details the steps for growing microgreens. Would you believe over 80,000 people have watched it?! And I have gotten such nice comments from folks, mainly saying it is the first video they’ve watched that provides the information they need. That’s great to hear. If you were one of those 80K, thank you!
