Video: June Vegetable Garden Tour

I’ve been on vacation for two weeks so am currently playing catch-up! In my newest video, I take you on a vegetable garden tour for the month of June. During the garden season, I plan to give you monthly updates on how everything is growing.

You’ll see which crops are excelling, any problems we’re encountering and how we address them. And, of course, I share all sorts of tips to help you be successful at growing your own food. That last statement has been my mantra for all of the years I’ve been doing this. I strongly believe that everyone needs to know how to grow their own food, and especially through organic methods.

I’ve been getting some really nice comments on this video so far. Please know they are very appreciated. It lets me know I’m on the right track because I know how helpful it is to actually witness how plants grow and produce. My other focus is to let you know about some great vegetable varieties. I love sharing which varieties have performed the best for us. Sometimes it might seem like we’re in a bit of a rut by growing the same bean, corn and broccoli varieties. But hey, when you hit upon a good one, that’s what you go with, right?
