May 26 Column: Friends of Manito Spring Plant Sale

If you live in the Inland Northwest, you won’t want to miss the Friends of Manito Spring Plant Sale next weekend! That’s the topic of my garden column and here’s a link to it in The Spokesman-Review: Find water-wise plants at Manito sale.

The Friends of Manito is an awesome group of volunteers who donate so many hours of their time to grow and pamper the plants that will be available at the sale. Kudos to them! And what’s great is that all proceeds from the plant sale will go right back into Manito Park, so in addition to getting wonderful plants for your garden, you’ll also be helping out your community.

Be sure to make your shopping list ahead of time so you can be organized once you get there. You can find a link to the plants that will be at the sale on their website.
