Growing a Greener World

I’ve noticed that I have a lot more followers these days. And I’m pretty sure I know why! My husband Bill and I — and our garden, of course — were featured on an episode of “Growing a Greener World.” I have a link to the episode below, just in case you missed it.

“Growing a Greener World” is a wonderful PBS program that I’ve followed and enjoyed watching for years. In August of 2016, the host (Joe Lamp’l) and his cameraman flew here from Atlanta. They filmed the episode in our garden over the course of two days.

Bill and I are really pleased with how it turned out but it was a lot of work! The episode aired in early June 2017.

Here is a link to the episode, which will take you to the Growing a Greener World website. You’ll notice the show notes are beneath the video screen, along with some photos from our garden. You’ll find some links to a few sources on this website and my YouTube channel. I felt they would be helpful to those viewing the episode.

I do hope you’ll consider watching it! For a peek behind the scenes of the making of the episode, just go to my blog post about it. I’ve embedded the video within that post. You’ll also see a link to the garden column I wrote for The Spokesman-Review newspaper about the experience.
