Video: A Visit to the Bloedel Reserve

Bill and I recently toured a beautiful “forest garden” recently. It’s called the Bloedel Reserve and is located in Bainbridge Island, Wash.
It was so incredibly peaceful and fantastic, and you know what that means! I took a LOT of photos. Since I know you love gardens, too, I thought you’d enjoy seeing them. So for this week’s video, I created a slideshow because that’s a great way to experience this amazing place. But visiting it in person is even better, of course.
First of all, I wanted to give you website address for the Bloedel Reserve. As I mentioned in the video, if you live in Washington State, you owe it to yourself to visit it! And if you’re planning a trip to this area of the country, add it to your itineray! You definitely won’t be disappointed.
The Bloedel Reserve is on 140 acres and the walking trails are easy to follow. Their tickets have a timed entry so you can be assured of a quiet time to enjoy the beauty.
We were treated to a tour of the garden as part of a Garden Communicators International event. That’s the professional organization I belong to. It was a treat connecting with other members from the Pacific Northwest.
I hope you’ll enjoy this video tour of the Bloedel Reserve:
Did you enjoy the photos? I create garden-related videos and release them every Thursday on my YouTube channel. The majority of them are about vegetable and flower gardening, as well as how-to’s such as pruning trees and shrubs. Be sure to make yourself at home on my channel. Got a question?
