The great thing about this time of year is that we’re starting to see more signs of plant life every day. And boy have we earned that after all of the chilly, wet weather we’ve been having.┬áIf you’ve been driving in some of the more rural areas of town lately, chances are you’ve been noticing some bright yellow flowers. Some folks call them “wild sunflowers” but they really are Arrowleaf Balsamroot.

These plants provide some very welcome bright colors and have to be one of the cheeriest to be seen each spring.
